About me:

I am a Graphic Designer with a years experience looking for Junior role within the design industry.

I am an enthusiastic, bright young man, who excels under pressure, resolving problems and meeting challenges with a touch of humour and wit. I am passionate about everything I do, and enjoy working with other people, I feel my ideas and ingenuity grow and flourish when working alongside other creatives.

Generating ideas is what I love most about design. Sitting down and sketching on an envelope the next global campaign, or coming up with the killer tag line that completes the advertisement. Enjoying the three years at university has made up my mind to enter and succeed in the design industry where no two briefs are the same.

I have even been known to say ‘put me into an empty room with a problem and I shall colour the walls with ideas.’

Manchester United 10
I am currently interning with the Premiership football club Manchester United, mainly artworking and assisting with day to day design related material. For more information please ask to see my reference.

TBGLondon 10
TBGLondon brought me in to help with the influx of work with their client EA Games and their advertising on Facebook. I created images set at a specific size to raise awareness of the new games being released.

Homebase 09
I held the role as the P.O.S (point of sale) controller in one of the company’s largest stores for nearly a year. My job entails the receipt and execution of product advertising and sales promotion. The job allows me to be creative with promotional material that gets seen by hundreds of customers each day.

Direct Design 09
I did work placement at Direct Design, a small creative agency based in Kent. I was able to help design and develop print based material and web projects for a range of small companies in Kent, such as Richard Reid an architectural company.

Distill Magazine 08
I worked at Distill Magazine, as part of Craft Publishing, a fashion magazine based in London. They gave me the opportunity to work on a number of jobs including image manipulation; retouching photos, and resizing ready to be used on the magazines website. I also helped organise and layout images that were to be printed in the magazine.

Neoco 08
I worked at Neoco, a digital advertising agency based in London. Working with designers on creative advertising briefs for new and existing clients. Including such tasks as image retouching, creating new visuals to illustrate ideas to help the creative team with pitches, along with the company’s re-branding.

I also worked as part of a team on a live client brief for Neoco. In which we took regular meetings discussing improvements to be made and paths to be taken.

IDT Europe 07
IDT are a global telecom giant, the industry’s largest prepaid phone card company. With thousands of staff on their books I settled in quickly with the production team. I designed the graphics on the phone cards which are available around the globe, poster campaigns to advertise products, and also new international SIM card – IDT Mobile for the worldwide launch.
